Participants can taste around 100 varieties of sake, from the gold standard of famous sake to the rarer regional sake not found in Tokyo.
Cups of sake can be purchased using tasting coupons. (1 coupon per cup).
There will also be stalls and food trucks selling the perfect sake-pairing snacks!

What is Sake Collection?

Tokyo Sake Collection is an event aimed at spreading the charms of sake to young people and people from overseas who have few opportunities to try sake.

The event boasts around 100 varieties of sake, from the gold standard of famous sake to the rarer regional sake not found in Tokyo. In addition to sake, Many of the brewers themselves will also be there to serve you.

The venue is the Bellesalle Akihabara, just a 3 min walk from Akihabara Station. Even if you are not a regular sake drinker, this is an excellent opportunity to discover this magical beverage!

20 tasting coupons will allow you to enjoy many different sake in the first-floor tasting venue.

Sake Tasting Tours in English During the Event
Each tour will be led by a sake expert, who will guide you through the different sake booths in English, teach you how to taste like a pro, as well as introducing their own personal recommendations and sharing some of their knowledge about Japanese sake. (Textbook and souvenir sake cup included).

Advance ticket holders may enter the venue any time between 13:00 and 18:00.
At reception you will be provided with a starter pack of tasting coupons that can be exchanged for sake. There are two types of advance tickets.

*A valid ticket and wristband, collected at reception, is required for each person to enter the venue.
*People under 20 will only be allowed entry if accompanied by someone of legal age. ID may be checked upon entry, so please bring it with you. (Children accompanied by a ticket-holding parent or guardian are admitted free of charge).
*Leftover tickets can be used on a different day, but a new sake-tasting re-entry ticket must be purchased.
*Extra tasting coupons will be available inside the venue only at 1000 yen per 5 coupons.
*Same-day tickets may not be sold depending on how busy the venue is on the day, so please purchase advance tickets to avoid disappointment.

For Participants of the Talk show with Kaori Maeda and Yurie Funato

On Oct 14 (Mon), a talk show will be held at the same time as the main event by Kaori Maeda & Yurie Funato, two voice actors who have become well-known at Sake Collection and are known for their love of sake. Special guests will also be present!
Tickets with access to the show include 20 tasting coupons for tasting sake on the first floor, a sake toast with everyone at the start, and an original masu (tasting cup). Additionally, talk show ticket holders can drink as much sake on B1F as they like.

*For safety reasons, as alcohol consumption is involved, each person may only purchase tickets for up to two parts of the talk show. If our staff deems you intoxicated, you will not be allowed to enter the venue. Please note that tickets will not be refunded in such cases.

The Yokohama Smoke Studio will prepare a variety of smoked delicacies to enhance the sake-tasting experience, including some rather unusual items that make the visit worthwhile.

Assemblage Club by Sake World

Sake World, a web media for enjoying Japanese sake, will be exhibiting for the first time in Tokyo a sake assemblage developed with three Kyoto sake breweries.
Come and taste this unique blending of famous sake across various breweries.



Kirra Tofu by En

Kirra Tofu is a new type of snack tofu that boasts a cheese-like richness and melt-in-your-mouth texture.
Made with dairy products, one bite of this tofu will fill your mouth with a creamy taste.
The cherry prawns have an elegant flavour and a unique aroma.
The edamame beans are accented with a crunchy texture.
The morokoshi has the perfect combination of gentle sweetness and creaminess, like corn pottage.



Kuroe

Sake designed with ‘maki-e’ by Hashimoto Lacquerware, a manufacturer of Kishu lacquerware founded at the end of the Edo period.

They plan to sell their creator-collaboration range at Sake Collection.

The company also produces maki-e acrylic squares, maki-e acrylic charms, and maki-e interior bottles.



Onkyo

Specialist audio company Onkyo uses its ‘Music Vibration Technology,’ which it developed in collaboration with the Tokyo University of Agriculture, to shake up sake and create new taste experiences.

Ukou Shoufukutei

A Rakugoka hailing from Takatsuki City, Osaka.
Started as an apprentice under Tsuruko Shofukutei in April 2007 before being promoted to leading performer in 2021.

Momoka Choukarou

Born in Tokyo. She joined Koasa Shunputei’s troupe, and during her time as the troupe’s second performer, Pikkari Shunputei, she won the best newcomer award at the Asakusa Performing Arts Awards, completed ten consecutive days of solo performances across the country, and has made appearances on TV and radio as a celebrity and actor.
March 2022: promoted to headliner and changed to current name.
July 2024: performed 31 consecutive nights of new material.



Kiyohiko Hayashiya

A Rakugoka hailing from Sapporo City, Hokkaido.
Sep 2016: started as an apprentice of Hikoichi Hayashiya.
Oct 2017: started as an opening act called “Kiyohiko.”
Mar 2021: promoted again to main act.

Yusuke Kokontei

He began his Rakugo career at Toyo University in 2016.
In November 2020, he was promoted to second performer.
In February 2022, he moved to Shinsuke Kokontei’s troupe, changing his name to the current one.
He has a reputation for ghost story Rakugo!



Yuuya Igarashi

Fundoshi Dancer, Actor, and Choreographer.
Born in Saitama, raised in Nagano and Yamagata.
His photo collection ‘Fundoshi Biyori,’ where he dances outdoors wearing an overly long red loincloth, is creating a buzz.
He is active not only on stage but also in many other fields, and having appeared on numerous tv programs, he aspires to one day have his own TV program dedicated to playing with loincloths.
He also participated in the London production of the stage play ‘Spirited Away’ from its premiere.
He played the role of the three green heads ‘Kashira’ in loincloths.
He has appeared in various media, stage, commercials, and films, regardless of genre.


Masayuki Kusumi

Masayuki Kusumi & Screentones Jr.
Casual ‘Solitary Gourmet’ Live Session at Akihabara!

Masayuki Kusumi (Vocal, Guitar),Satoshi Fukumura (Sax),Shake(Kb),Shake (Keyboard),Ken Kuruki(Percussion)
The band was formed to create music for a Japanese drama called ‘Solitary Gourmet.
With its backbone of individual musical styles between its members, the band edited, performed, mixed, and produced all the music in the drama.
They have produced over 300 records over 12 years, including music for other dramas and songs from ‘Okaasan to Issho.’ They also perform around ten live performances yearly.  
Currently penning a series called “Kusumi Masayuki no furatto tabisake” (lit. Masayuki’s casual travel sake).

Born in Fukuoka. She has appeared in Uma Musume Pretty Derby (as Nice Nature), Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Club’ (as Sakurazaka Shizuku).


Yurie Funato

Born in Saitama. She has appeared in such films as Magica Party (as Kuracchi) and Cinderella Nine in August (as Yukari Shiina).

Fuka Izumi (voice actor)

Born in Aichi Prefecture. Her credit include Gushing Over Magical Girls (Mahou shoujo ni Akogarete) (as Utena Hiiragi / Magia Baser), My Deer Friend Nokotan (as Bashame Meme), and others.


Second Show Guest

Rena Hasegawa (voice actor)

Born in Niigata Prefecture. Her credits include Plus-sized Elf (‘Mr. Elf Can't Lose Weight.’) (as Kuroeda), Rinkai! (as Yahiko Miko), among others.

Tomokazu Sugita (voice actor)

Born in Saitama Prefecture. His credits include Gintama (as Gintokui Sakata), Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba) (as Gyomei Himejima ), Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu (Kyon), and others.

The original character by popular illustrator Kiyose Akame is based on Sukunahikononomikoto, the “god of sake brewing.“

*Customers who only purchase tickets for the sake tasting at the 1F venue are not allowed to enter the B1F talk show venue.

*It is possible to use leftover tasting coupons on different days, but a new entry ticket must first be purchased.

*Entry to the talk show venue will be in the order of the number on the ticket.

*The talk show seating ticket includes 20 tasting coupons that can be redeemed on the first floor. However, for third-show attendees, the deadline for entry to the 1F drinking contest venue is 18:30, so please use the 1F drinking contest venue before the talk show starts.

*For safety reasons, as alcohol consumption is involved, each person may only purchase tickets for up to two parts of the talk show. If our staff deems you intoxicated, you will not be allowed to enter the venue. Please note that tickets will not be refunded in such cases.

*While it is possible to move to the drinks corner in the B1F talk show venue during the talk show, seated guests are asked to refrain from excessive movement.
