美郷町六郷は秋田県南部随一の清水の里として知られています。町の周辺には、およそ６０箇所の湧水があります。高橋酒造店の敷地内にあるのが「笑顔清水」といいます。この笑顔清水からの地下水脈を酒造りの仕込水として使用しています。恵まれた環境を生かし、特定銘称酒仕込みに特化し、小粒ながら欠けがえのない蔵をモットーにしている蔵元です。
